Instagram Life #2

So basically I suck because I haven't been updating a lot this past week. Sorryyyy! I have been very busy with finishing up my finals, doing critics/presentations/papers. As well as me taking a day trip to New York City with some of my gorgeous family, going to the most amazing concert ever. It was City and Colour. (click on the link to listen to one of my favorites by them).  I also got a lovely visit, and flowers, from someone earlier in the week. Who says that he reads my blogs all the time. So this will be a test to really see if he is really reading, haha. I'm so sneaky.  

All of these pictures are basically from all of that. Since I can't really update with anything to extensive today cause I'm still finishing up my fashion sketch final and have some other things I need to do I will only be able to update with this for now. But I'm hoping tonight or tomorrow I will actually have time for a real post.

My New Years Outfit

 

 Hello everyone! I have been M.I.A for the past couple day's due to getting ready for finals as the end of my quarter in college is vastly approaching. ONE MORE WEEK! So as usual I need to start getting ready to pack to go back to my parents house for holiday.  So this is my outfit that I will be wearing on new years! 

Sadly, I'm not quite sure what I will be doing. But what ever it is I plan on looking good lol. So this is what I have picked out to wear. 

The dress is by Lauren Conrad, sold at Kohls. The black bow belt, modcloth. I'm not sure if I will exactly be wearing a sequin blazer or not if i can find it, but this one is at Free People. The bow heels, Madden Girl. And last but not least I will also be wearing any floral pattern tights I have in my closet or I find, probably at Macy's. I don't show any pictures, but I will also dress up the outfit with tons of layers of sparkly necklaces, and a jeweled headband!

Valentino's Virtual Museum

Now as most of you know Valentino was one of the last true couture designers in the world. And when he stepped down to retire I remember my little heart broke! Valentino is still an amazing design company and doing very well, but there is nothing like a vintage Valentino. 

This morning the New York Times posted an article about the launch, that was also this morning of Valentino's virtual museum, FOR FREE. Yepp, that's right the download is completely free!

Inside the article is a link to the place were you actually download this "app" on to your computer. The download is quick and easy for both Mac and PC. I downloaded it this morning in class on the school's PC and at home on my Mac Book, with in no time I was in the museum looking around at all of the gorgeous masterpieces of clothing. 

When you first get to the "museum" you start by walking up some stairs and get to the main lobby where with in a Valentino red case is a Valentino dress. On the three walls that surround you are different virtual rooms that you can "walk" into and look around at all of the creations of Valentino.

QUICK TIP: make sure you click on the mannequins wearing the clothing and at the bottom of the screen a bar will appear on the right hand side you can click and it will take you to see more information about the garment, like the fashion show it was in, the illustrations and some are able to do a 360 degree turn!

I personally find this piece of technology amazing. The fact that anyone now has the access to view a whole bunch of Valentino's famous couture works any time! I feel that this is a giant leap to show everyone the where this industry is going in the near future.

I urge you to check this out for yourself. It's truly amazing.

What's In My Bag?

 

So this is basically the gist of everything that I keep in my purse. 

Although normally my purse is a giant mess ad I can't find anything in it, haha.

• First off my purse is Betseyville by Betsey Johnson
• I started keeping my knit headband. I use this instead of earmuffs.
• Also I keep my knit mittens in their now because of the weather.
• My red woven faux leather wallet.
• Ray Ban sunglasses and their case.
• Highlighters/pens/pencils/post-it's.
• nude lipstick and chapstick.
• Ipod.
• Train schedule. 
• Ipod/Iphone charger.
• Keys/I.D.
