Instagram Life #4

 

Okay so this week has been crazy. Been doing a lot for my mini collection, my bridal portfolio and I have been trying to become more intellectual in the culinary world lol.

First off I love POM green tea. it's just the best, as well as the whole wawa every size of coffee is $1... well actually $1.06 with tax, but it's okay. I love my daddy, he always send me me random encouraging texts and I love it! It really helps to know that he's proud of me. That burger, yes I made it from scratch! It was really nervous cause I never made one before in my life and I just played it by ear while making it but it turned out to be quite delicious! And then there is me modeling my YSL lipstick that I am soooo in love with, ahh. CARMEL MACCHIATO's save my life! And my professor shared with us the line up for Fashion Week, I saw Timo Weiland and was soo excited! Next is my outfit I made a couple months ago for class, the hems aren't finished in the pic but yepp. And who doesn't love to relax and eat a bunch of grapes, or blueberries, or strawberries.. sorry I'm a fruit fanatic. Well I hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday.

My Red Carpet Look

If I were to be lucky enough to be able to be on the Red Carpet and have a myriad of extra money to spend on my outfit, this is what I would wear. I decided I would go for a simple elegant look. If it was my first and maybe only time on the Red Carpet I would have to make sure I looked good, and trying out something crazy would not be the way to go.

Old Love

Timo Weiland has been one of my favorite designers for a long time now. Ever since Timo Weiland and Alan Eckstein created this brand and it was just neck wear, and also Timo! Wallets. I have always admired their style and designs. I have been noticing that their reputation has been building more and more recently and I am really happy it is. One day my dream is to own one of my own dresses from Timo Weiland.

Skull & Antlers

 


Howdy everyone! So This is what I am wearing today.  Last night I finally got to see some of my friends I haven't seen in a while. One was because he went to Hong Kong for a month. And when I saw he him gave me this necklace that he got for me while over there.


Now I am in love with this necklace. Defiantly is right up my ally of things I love. I love skulls and interesting pieces of clothing and accessories. It was so cute too. It comes wrapped in a plastic bag and you have to rip open the top. It was like opening up a bag of nuts I get from Trader Joes, lol!







As of the rest of my outfit. I am wearing the same shoes I wore yesterday. Yeah I know! Crazy right? haha. I am also wearing my plain black sweater from H&M. A black cami from H&M and Jeans from American Eagle.
My lips have on a nude lipstick by Laura Geller called Berry Banana.

Wellp I hope everyone has a great rest of their day. Sadly it is supposed to rain today where I am at and I have a bunch of homework to do.

So today, was a really lovely winter day. It really was a prefect day. I think with all the pinks I was wearing and how beautiful it was outside I was really trying to channel Spring. Hah I can't wait till winter is over and spring will be arriving. Or maybe just because Valentines Day is coming up.

I had classes, had a bunch of things to talk to my different advisers about. Finished up some homework. Went shopping for a bunch of things in my apartment. Oh and by the way don't mind the box in the back ground. I also has some friends come over who I haven't seen since before Christmas break because we all have just been sooooo busy, hah. 

Basically a good day. Soon I am going to be needing to go to NYC for some fabric and to visit a friend of mine up there. So watch out, NY I might be on my way.

Wish List

Okay so since spring is in the, well near future. I thought I would put a couple of accessories that I would absolutely love! Especially the heels, I would love to wear those out on my birthday, lol.

Instagram Life #3

 

Wellp, been awhile since I did this. But this is basically what has been going on lately through my world of Instagram. This first picture on the upper left is my amazing awesome avacado and mozzarella grilled cheese I made. Next me showing my appreciation for Joe Pa, I used to go to Penn State so I still have that certain Penn State pride for the amazing football coach and man that he was. Next is from a new Youtuber I just found watch it she's hilarious (My Drunk Kitchen). 

Middle left row is of my awesome cookies I got from my mommy! Then I Karl Laugerfeld'ed my little cousin, it's a really fun app, check it out. (Net-A-Porter Karl) Ahhh again I love bubble baths! 

Oh and then on the bottom left is my cute little robot love window for Valentines Day. The last two are because of snow. It snowed the other night and then I realized I have nothing but cheese and pizza sauce to eat in the fridge. Sad. Don't worry I didn't starve, lol.

Alexis Bledel Style

I haven't done a look-a-like style in a while and from being sick and my mom getting me all new DVD's of all the Gilmore Girls seasons. I have always loved Alexis Bledel and her style so in honor of me being on the sixth season of my Gilmore Girls marathon since Christmas.

I absolutely love her style. Very simple, stylish, modern. I even liked her hair when she went blond (upper small picture on the right). When I was younger and watched Gilmore Girls while it was still on TV I always would use that show as my inspiration for my style. Even still, I use her style as a lot of my inspiration in even my designs.

Alright now this collage of clothing and outfits I created on my Polyvore where you can check out all of the pieces, all of it is under $50 each. I mimicked a couple pieces from the pictures of her above and got some ideas from seeing her in Gilmore Girls as well. Hope you enjoy.

So it's official I have become a cool kid and got a Pinterest account. I had to get it for one of my classes to show my inspirations and such so anyone can check out what I'm kinda up to in my classes.

 

I also have become addicted to looking up food, drinks, and little DIY projects for myslef. Ah, yepp it's become my new addiction. So check it out, add me and let me know if any of you have one.

Valentines Day Outfits

Ello, Sooooo this is basically a bunch of different outfits and extra things that each are under fifty dollars.  You can check them all out more on my Polyvore. Here are just some ideas of outfits to wear for Valentines day or even there are appropriate for spring which will be coming up in the next couple months. Personally it's not my style to start shopping for spring now, but if it's something I can actually wear now and bundle up in a scarf, jackets and hats when leaving my place.

Sooo... because this week is the first week of my new classes I have been overloaded with projects! Yippy! Wellp for one of my classes I will be doing about seven different bridal collections and so I am posting a bunch of different Vera Wang bridal dresses from some of the collections on her website.

I absolutely love Vera Wang's bridal. She is the reason I ever was interested in going into bridal in the fashion industry. The pictures alone don't do any of them justice the best part is actually watching the models walk on the runway in them, and if I ever get the privilege to see them in person I bet I would just be in aw.

Love is in the Air

Hello guys! Ahh it's been so long since I posted anything last, sorry. I've been feeling guilty this whole time. I even had this whole idea of different things I would post everyday on my blog starting January first. But sadly I have left my laptop at home, and currently I am still out for "vacation" with my family. I now have finally gotten to a computer I am allowed to use and I am updating with a holiday, if you would like to call it that, that I actually already bought some decorations for in my apartment. Yepp that's right Valentines Day!
In about 6 weeks it will be that time of love and I figure why not get a head start and post something for it. Since everything else I was going to do now has to be on hold. So here it is, my own playlist dedicated to Valentines Day and all the people in love this year.

• She's Got You High-Mumm Ra: I first heard about this song from my snooping around through a bunch of different artists online and happened to find it. I then noticed it's in the movie 500 Days Of Summer! 

• Do You Realize??-The Flaming Lips: Now I have been listening to The Flaming Lips for a longg time now it seems. My dad has always played their music, and this was just always my favorite by them!

• Do You Remember-Jack Johnson: Now one of my guilty pleasures is getting ready in the morning (normally alone) while BLASTING John Mayer radio, and singing every song as loud as possible. Mhmm and this is one of the songs that always seems to find it's way onto Pandora when I listen to it. It's pretty cute. 

• I Want to Hold Your Hand-The Beatles: Who doesn't love The Beatles and their music!? This and 'Hey Jude' were actually two of their songs that my family had on our karaoke machine we had as I was growing up.  

• First Day of My Life-Bright Eyes: Ah, I love Bright Eyes! and the music video is really cute too! It's nice to see in the video that anyone can fall in love with anyone, and that it really doesn't discriminant between race or gender or anything. Everyone can love and be loved. I have the music video of it linked on the title.

• Falling into You- Mae: I've always loved the band Mae, and in their ablum (a)fternoon they have this instrumental song. I absolutely LOVE this song, I find it to be beautiful. Now I've never told anyone this before but is has to do with the reason I picked this for the Valentines Day playlist. Now I'm not the kind of girl who ever though about getting married and dreamed up her perfect wedding ever, I never even though about the wedding dress. But when I heard this I knew that I if I ever do get married I want this to be played as the music I walk down the isle to.

• Such Great Heights-The Postal Service (or Iron & Wine version): This is defnatly a song that has been used in different movies and TV shows like The Garden State and Grey's Anatomy. 

• Love Song-The Cure (or the Adele version) Gahh, such a good song. Again my dad had this song in his library, by The Cure, and I would always listen to it.

• Somewhere Only We Know-Keane: This song really is great because I know a lot of different couples, and me having my own relationships from first had experience I know there are those times were it seems like it would just be better to leave and go someplace only you two know because everyone else can just be so annoying sometimes, especially when they put in their two cents about how your relationship should be going lol. 

• Here In Your Arms-Hellogoodbye: Okay, Hellogoodbye was my favorite band when I was a freshman in high school. I LOVED shimmy shimmy quarter turn and touch down turn around! This is one of their more famous love songs, as well as Oh! It Is Love, but I just loved this music video cause I thought it was cute, and this happens to just remind me of my first boyfriend I ever had! Hah! It's interesting how things end up turning out later on in life.

• Vanilla Twilight-Owl City: I saw Owl City in concert, and being right up front it was amazing! He played this song and Saltwater Room and I couldn't really decide which one I wanted in the playlist but Vanilla Twilight won! :)

Now there are a couple of love songs in the last playlist I made (Blogger Playlist) that could also be used in this, but I wanted to use all different songs this time.
